About the Blogger

Grace, mercy, and peace from Al LaCour, a retired Presbyterian (PCA) Minister. After I served as the lead pastor of four congregations, I developed and led RUF International, the PCA's international student ministry — welcoming foreign-born students on American university campuses.

These posts (or "Hee-Haws") are entirely my own and are not the official views of any church, ministry, or other organization.

I welcome your thoughts and feedback. Please email me.

I was trained as an engineer. I am committed to practicing Christian hospitality. I like to develop welcoming, worshiping communities. I enjoy serving as a mentor for young leaders.

With my beloved bride of 45 years, I reside in Metro Atlanta, Georgia, USA. We have two extraordinary adult children. And, like me, they married well. We are the grandparents of three.

In this season of active retirement, I perceive that God is calling me to work on all my "relational deficits," as a:

My hobbies? I brew pour-over coffee. I like to create photo memories with my Olympus PEN-F camera. And I like to journal with my small collection of fountain pens.
